This year I aimed higher...a trip to London to catch the Grayson Perry Show The Vanity of Small Differences.
Despite not meeting up with Grayson and heading out to lunch to talk stitching, all things Essex & tribes, I had a ball. The vibrancy of the tapestries was inspiring; not just the colours but the subjects, words, scale & conversations around the way he deals with the concept of class and vanity.
