Long sleeve t-shirt tutorial
It's spring - I visited Flo-Jo's Boutique today, and picked up some stretchy fabric.
Using this tutorial here at Stripes and Polka dots blog, I made myself a slouchy top - sleeves 'n' all. I love my overlocker!

That looks wicked :) I need more practice to make this with that type of fabric
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth - I found SS, stretchy stitch thang on my machine and read the manual to help me with doing the hem on my normal machine. Have a go :)
DeleteA great top! I've yet to try an overlocker but I'll have to give it a go now that GBSB has made them so popular. They look a bit scary :-)
ReplyDeleteAn overlocker is fab - I used one when I made a pair of knickers on a workshop and was lucky enough tto get one for my birthday. If you can use a normal machine then the overlocker is not so scary. Using the manual helped with the set up of the threads and some places give you lessons when you buy a machine from them. Good luck! :)
DeleteAlli, do you have a 'subscribe function on your blog because I can't find it? Sorry if it's staring me in the face. I'm sewing sashing rows on a quilt and my mind is buggled :-)
DeleteHi Diane - you can follow me by clicking on the follow function on the Right hand side - scroll down, it's just underneath the Christmas Craft club sign. Thanks Alli :)
DeleteDone, thanks :-)
DeleteThank you Diane :)
