Vintage dog embroidery

In October, with aching hands, I had a go at embroidery – it was wobbly, but I enjoyed giving this vintage pattern an update with some lovely embroidery stitches. He’s unfinished, but may one day be complete!

I found the pattern here at Livin Vintage

Kimono t-shirt for child

I needed to get some shade and I found myself at the sewing machine making my daughter this t-shirt. The pattern was a mash between one of her tops and the Kimono pattern in my last post. I know that I need to make the neckline bigger for her so it fits comfortably over her head!

Her response - she loves it!

Happy bank holiday sunny Monday (a rare event in the UK!)

Simple t-shirt pattern - overlocker success!

Found this free fab t-shirt pattern and thought I'd give it a go. Love the stripes and even managed to get the stripes matching on front and back pieces! Ark at ee!

You can find the pattern here, but you may have to sign up to Craftsy (it's free) before you can download the pattern for free.

Stretchy fabrics are no longer something I'll avoid, now I have my overlocker!

Happy days...
